I am always open to new ways to deliver my work.

What I look for is a combination of programs that  allow my clients to receive just what they need from me at the time, at a price that makes it easy for them to get it.

Sometimes, that means staying pretty close to each other. Other times, it could mean having me on the side line, at hand.

In that sense, my Keep It Up! Program works really well. It allows clients who have already worked with me closely to stay on track, to receive the support, to run things by me as they need. We share one call a month and as many emails as they’d like.

I wanted to find an equivalent for everyone else. People who would like some ongoing presence and support … but not as much as full on coaching would give them.

How does it work?

We get together for an hour, one time. On the phone or in person.
You tell me what’s going on, we figure out our plan.

Then, we talk once a month, for 30 minutes, checking in, fine tuning.

In between calls, you have me as much as you want, by email. This means that can run stuff by me, clean something up, explore an idea … vent. Whatever you need.

I am pretty happy about this and I think that it’s going to work really well.

Myth Busting Business eCourse

Some Freaking Work Respect

I am so frustrated. And somehow, this resonates as something not new, something that has happened before and definitely has the flavor of “I cant believe I let it happen again.”

It is summertime. My kids are home. I LOVE that my kids are home.

And I am kind of going crazy with a blend of guilt, frustration and … yeah, guilt.

I have been working since about 6 am. Woke up, grabbed my laptop, climbed back in bed and started writing, answering emails, making promo materials, uploading videos, answering more emails… I am pretty on fire about my work in general and none of it feels like an effort. But then, around 10, my daughter (who is apparently very frustrated with me when I tell her that I need to be working) tells me that “I am not really working – I am still in my kimono.” And my blood goes hot.

And I realize that I have done it again. Damn it.

In an attempt to “be home with my kids,” mixed with a huge amount of gratitude for being able to work from home, I have sent out all kinds of mixed messages (possibly mostly to myself).

It would all look so much more official if I would just get in the car in the morning and drive… somewhere. Anywhere. Preferably somewhere with a desk. THEN maybe they would see me as “really working.” Sure, I wouldn’t be able to whip them up an omelet when they get out of bed mid-day and sure I would not be able to listen to them laughing and singing but darn it … I would get some freaking “work respect.”

Ok ok. I feel better now.


On Feeling Fulfilled

I am finding that working with a group of people I really, really like on a project that excites me – is pure bliss.

Today was such a day and even though my feet are begging me for a massage … I am going to bed completely fulfilled.
